Medicines To Poor Patients
Request for proposal
Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa wishes to explore the
possibility of entering into "cost-sharing program" or “donation
based program” with multi-national pharmaceutical companies for provision of
access to free cancer medicines to poor patients of this province available on
proprietary basis in Pakistan.
Manufacturers and importers of proprietary cancer medicines
targeted therapies are invited to forward a proposal based on cot sharing or
donation based mechanism for cancer patients expected each year for which the
company is involved in manufacturing / importing therapies.
This proposal should give details of the cost of therapy a
firm is prepared to share and cost expected from the government of Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa per patient.
This is only a preliminary enquiry to look into feasibility or
otherwise, of the proposed project and subject to final approval by the
government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
