Application are invited from Pakistani citizens on prescribed forms available from the Reception counter, University of Peshawar, for the following positions:

1. Lecturer in Gender Studies, Department of Gender Studies (Contact) (Two) Salary: 16000/- P.M. Fixed.

Qualification:

1st Class Master's degree in Social Sciences / Arts & Humanities awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University/Institution. Candidates having research/training in gender or feminist issues or having diploma in women & Law will be given preference.

2. Library Assistant (Female) (College of Home Economics) (Contact) (one) Salary: Rs 5970/- P.M. Fixed.

Qualification:

Master's degree in MLISc in at least 2nd division from recognized University OR Bachelors Degree in BLISc in at least 2nd Division from a recognized University with 03 years relevant experience OR Diploma in Library Science from a recognized Institute/University with 05 years relevant experience.

Age: Upto 30 years

3. Laboratory Assistant (Female) (College of Home-Economics) (Contact) (One) Salary: Rs 5970/- P.M. Fixed.

Qualification:

F.Sc. in at least 2nd Division.

Age: Upto 30 years

Application forms along with a recent passport size photograph and attested copies of educational testimonials, experience certificates and a copy of National Identity Card (NADRA) with a Bank draft/receipt (non-refundable) of Rs. 225/- for serial # 1 and Rs. 125/- for serial # 2 & 3 in favour of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar should reach at the Meeting Section on or before 10 November, 2007. In-Service candidates should apply through proper Channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate from their concerned department/Institution along with the application form.

Incomplete application and those received after due date will not be entertained.
