 Ghulam Ishaq Khan GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology - a non -governmental not-for-profit leading university invites applications for the following positions:

FACULTIES: Computer Sciences & Engineering  , Electronic Engg, Mechanical Engineering , Engineering Sciences , Materials Sciences & Engineering and Management Sciences

Lab Engineers / Scientific Officers / Research Officers : Candidates should have Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the above fields or M.Sc. (Maths or physics) or M.A (English )preferably with teaching and research experience.

Research Associates: Master's  / M.Phil degree (18 years schooling) or an acceptable equivalent in the above fields preferably with teaching research experience.

Assistant Professor : PhD. in relevant field from a recognized university abroad or acceptable equivalent, preferably with some publications in refereed journals of international repute.

Associate Professor : Ph.D in relevant discipline from a recognized university abroad or acceptable equivalent with 5 years services as Assistant Professor and 6 Publications in refereed journals of international repute.

Professor : PhD in the relevant discipline from a recognized university abroad or acceptable equivalent with 6 years services as Associate Professor or 11 years teaching and research experience and 12 publications in refereed journals of  international  repute.
Candidate for professorial positions should have post-doctoral experience with capability to conduct independent and original research. Two years industrial experience in organization of international repute will be considered equivalent one year teaching and research experience in a university .

Director: Ph.D 5 years or B.Sc (Engg) / M.Sc / M.A in Social or Administrative Sciences with 12 years post qualification experience of admissions , examinations , curricular and co-curricular activities , hostel management , student counseling etc. Must have knowledge of semester system , credit hours system (grades grade points average etc.)

Director (Audit): CA or Cost and Management Accountant with 7 years or MBA (Finance) from a recognized university with 12 years post qualification relevant experience in a government or reputed private organization in the fields of accounts, finance , audit and budget . Knowledge of computerized Accounting , Financial System and Auditing shall be preferred.

Principal School / College : M.A / M.Sc. with B. Ed and at least 10 years post qualification teaching experience including  5 years as Principal in a reputed institution.

Private Secretary: Graduate preferably Master's degree from a recognized university . 7 years experience of office management in a government or reputed private organization with shorthand and typing speed of 80 and 40 WPM respectively.

 Lab Technicians: 1st Class DAE in Electronic / Metallurgy / Mechanical from a Polytechnic Institute with 4 years relevant experience / CNC programming and machine operation.

Officer Assistant : Graduate from recognized University preferably with experience of related work in a government or reputed private organization.
