For the Livelihood Programme in rainfed areas of NWFP

Intercooperation (IC) a Swiss Development Foundation, is mandated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) to implement a Livelihood Programme (LP) in NWFP. The LP aims at improving quality of life and reducing vulnerabilities of marginalized communities in rainfed areas of NWFP. The programme headquarters will be located in Peshawar and its two regional offices will be established in Karak and Saidu Sharif, Swat. IC is seeking applications for the following positions in the context of the upcoming Livelihood Programme.

1. National Programme Officer Market and Enterprise Development/Financial Services

2. Finance Administrator

3. Non Formal Education Specialist

4. Association Specialist

5. Monitoring and Knowledge Management Specialist

The initial contract will be for three years, with possibility of prolongation, beginning from 1st January 2007. All positions will involve frequent traveling to the programme areas (Swat, Buner, Chitral, Karak, DI Khan and Kurram). Salary and benefits will be comparable to international donor's standards.
