&SOCIAL FEASIBILITY FOR TOWNSHIPS IN FATA

FATA Development Authority (FATA DA) intends to appoint Consultants for conducting Social and Economic Feasibility Study throughout the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and the adjoining Frontier (FR) for Development of Townships in these areas. FATA Development Authority (FATA  DA) intends to develop four developed townships in most suitable locations of the tribal areas on commercial lines in the next 5 years

The purpose of carrying out this study is to determine the social viability and economic feasibility of the proposed township. Before launching the development phase of the project, FATA Development Authority outcome and recommendation of this study, FATA DA would initiate the planning and development of these townships in different agencies.

For this purpose, FATA DA intends to appoint Consultants to be engaged through open competitive bidding.

Consultants who have carried out similar assignments in the past and are interested in this assignment are requested to obtain Terms of Reference and Guidelines from the Office of FATA Development Authority (FATA DA) on any working day during office hours before     3rd October, 2007 on payment of Rs. One Thousand (Rs. 1000) (Non-refundable) through bank draft in the name of Chief Executive FATA Development  Authority.

Technical and Finance proposals submitted by the Consultants should reach the office of Manager  M&E, FATA DA by 10:00 am on 8th October, 2007. Technical Proposals would be opened in the office of FATA DA on the same day at 11:00 am.
