CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Pakistan Red Crescent Society is panning to support Disaster Management/Disaster Preparedness activities and Basic Health Care Services in selected communities of the earthquake affected districts of Swat, Shangla and Kohistan with support form the partner German

Red Cross, for which applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment for contact

basic for the following posts to be based in Kohistan District:

1. District Secretary/Manager

2. Disaster Management Officer

3. Computer Operator/Office Assistant

Essential Qualification

1. Graduate in relevant field from recognized University.

2. Minimum 2 years of proven work experience in administration, social and field work preferable

with NGOs and humanitarian organizations.

3. Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Pashto.

4. Proven experience in good liaison with district authorities, other NGOs, INGOs and community influential.

5. Strong command on report writing.

6. Willingness to travel frequently to remote areas of NWFP

7. Computer literate (MS Office, internet).

1. FA/F.Sc

2. Computer literate (MS Office, internet, in-page)

• Desirable Qualification

1. Residents of District kohistan will be given preference.

2. Skills and competencies in participatory methods and facilitation.

3. Good Interpersonal managerial skills and track record of team work.

4. Retired Army Officers (up to the rank of Major) are also eligible to apply for the post of District

Secretary/Manager and Disaster Management Officer.
