PEC VANCIES

Application are invited for employment in Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad for the under mentioned vacancies on prescribed forms (available at address below & website: www.pec.org.pk along with bio-data, copies of certificates. NIC and latest photographs in duplicate by 20 September, 2007. Minimum age is 55 years. Persons already serving in any department must obtain No Objection Certificate from respective department.

ADDITIONAL REGISTRAR (PEC-20/21)

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Ms/m.Sc/ph.D (Engineering ).

Experience : Minimum of 20 years experience in management, academic and executive position. Active affiliation with professional bodies like, HEC, PEC, Government autonomous and semi-autonomous organization, A ph.D and Former Dean/Chairman of Department in an engineering university and well versed

with the process of Quality Assurance engineering according to qualification and experience.

PAY PACKAGE: Negotiable.

DEPUTY REGISTER (pec-18/19) Rs.24388-Rs. 55272 (Gross Salary)

Academic Qualification: BE/B.SC Engineering  

Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in academic related assignment with managerial knowledge. Active

accreditation knowledge/working with national and foreign accreditation agencies, experience with professional

bodies like HEC, PEC, Governmental autonomous and semi-autonomous organization, Perpetration and

evaluation of academic curricula will be given preference. Advance courses/diplomas in computer, Windows Office and print packages are desirable. Deputy Registrars shall be initially placed  at Karachi and HQ PEC Islamabad but could be transferred to any Branch Office.

LIBRARIAN (pec-17) Rs.20182-Rs 33712 (Gloss salary)

Qualification: Master degree in library sciences.

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as a librarian in a reputed institution /organization.

Job Requirement: To effectively num/improve newly established PEC library E-library, prepare plan and implement library policies, requisition/technical processing of print and electronic media, looking after digital library and make available its services to staff and visitors, keeping the library environment clean and comfortable, verification of prices and billing processing of acquisition of books and other material. Should be a

computer literate.
