CONSULTANCY SERVICES RFP

CARE International is a humanitarian organization working in 70 countries around the world. Our vision is a world of hope, tolerance and Social justice, where poverty has been overcome and people live in dignity and security. CARE International in Pakistan (CIP) intends to immediately engage a local / national registered consulting engineering firm for the Construction Supervision of 13 Schools in District Battagram , NWFP.

In order to complete the project within the stipulated time and to ensure the contractors qualitative and quantitative compliance to the Tender Documents prepared for the execution of the project the firm's / consultant's role shall be but not limited to the following

1. Estimate the progress, status and volume of work completed up to date for each individuals school building, and submit a report / certificate thereon.

2. See that the contractor's skilled and unskilled labor is qualified and experienced.

3. Make sure that quality of the construction materials and works executed are in accordance with the specifications prepared for the project and provided to each to each contractor

4. Make sure that the work is being done as per the contract documents.

5. Providing feedback on construction activities and progress of the work on each individuals structure

 6. Provide report on weekly basis to CARE assigned staff member

7. Make sure that the progress is as per the schedule; in case of delay provide feedback to CARE and contractor.

The assignment (based on the contracts / agreements signed with the companies) is estimated to be completed within eight (8) months period.

CARE has the right to accept or reject any proposal .
