IMC Vacancy
International Medical Crops (IMC) seeks qualified and experienced individuals for the following position for Field office Abbottabad.
Site/Program Manager:
Will be responsible for,
- Supervise site office program implementation, develop work plans and adherence to timeframes and program obligations.
- Support proposal and program development in the field, and provide leads for program development.
- Convenes and leads meetings as needed to address current program activities (project) program, strategic objectives, and intermediate results issues.
- Assisting in coordinating the development of project strategies, proposals, regular donor program updates to ensure they meet IMC and donor quality standards and to ensure that they are technically feasible.
- Maintain positive relations with relevant donors, including information visits and visits focused on program development.
- Liaison with Government officials, USG Donors, UN agencies, and other funding sources.
- Manage program Inventory control and related accountability coordinate with local officials on local customs laws and procedures.
- Control and supervision of overall distribution/GIK tracking and reporting in-country program management.
- Supervision of transport, vehicles maintenance, etc...
- Assist in providing oversight, direction and continuity for current program activities, while at the same time assessing and responding to IMC's growth and changing needs, shift from emergency to development programs by expanding current activities and programs and creating new ones, as appropriate.
- Train local staff for independent work to achieve sustainability for the programs through local capacity building.
Requirements:
- Must be a University degree holder, or degree in International Development, advanced degree preferred.
- 3 plus years of NGO experience on similar positions.
- Able to work on a team of nationals and expatriates, and ability to mentor national staff.
- Working experience with any reputed international organization will be an edge.
- Able to work as part of a large established team with excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written skills) is a must.
- Computer proficiency is a must.
- Ability and willingness to work in a multi-cultural team.
- Experience writing and submitting large proposals.
- This position will require extensive traveling to monitor the project areas.
