POSITIONS VACANT
The PRIDE Project (Primary Health Care Revitalization, Integration and
Decentralization in Earthquake Affected Areas), implemented by an international
consortium, is seeking to recruit highly qualified professionals for the
following positions:
1. COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLICATION MANAGER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Design and preparation of printed material relevant to Project Scope of
Work.
-
Develop Media strategies to create awareness about the project and design
material for advocacy.
-
Develop plan for affective media representation & coverage for PRIDE
project important events.
-
Liaison with print and electronic media to promote the image / goals of
the project.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
-
Masters degree in communication or related orientation.
-
Strong skills in effective use of MS Office, Corel Draw, and Adobe Free
hand MX and other graphic design software.
-
Ensure effective implementation of the project's Marking & Branding Strategy
including design and placement of required marking / branding materials.
-
At least 2 years experience in similar positions, International NGO
experience will be given preference.
2. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
The Database Administrator will manage the PRIDE project's diverse
database applications and provide in-house capability to support software
customization. He or she will provide support for the following:
-
MS Access databases including an indicator database, training database and
grants database.
-
Training of users for data entry and analysis.
-
Support for data analysis and reporting using Excel pivot-tables, Access
and other advanced statistical analysis applications.
QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS:
-
4 year Bachelor's degree in computer science.
-
Minimum 3 years experience within public or private sector providing
database management and or application development support.
-
Experience performing statistical analysis using advanced data analysis
software such as SPSS or Epilnfo strongly recommended. Demonstrated
expertise in developing database applications using MS Access and Visual
Basic. Experience managing distributed database applications in different
locations.
3. MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Assist with collection, recording, reporting and analysis of data on the
designed formats.
-
Assist with compilation of regular project reports.
-
Monitoring of ongoing program activities and verification of progress on
the ground.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
-
Masters degree in development sciences / social sciences with minimum of 3
years of M&E experience with a reputable organization in the humanitarian
/ relief / development.
-
Strong report writing & computer skills.
-
Experience of working in health sector will be considered ad an added
advantage.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Urdu and one
or more local languages.
4. PROGRAM ASSISTANTS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Work in close collaboration with the Operations Department and Finance
Department to support program staff to achieve effective and efficient
project activities.
-
Assist with procurement processes, arranging logistics such as transport, accommodation,
meetings, workshops, seminars and other events.
-
Provide other support to program staff to ensure smooth tuning of
operations.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
-
Graduate degree (Bachelors) in an relevant discipline such as business
administration, etc.
-
Two years experience in a similar position. Familiarity with the
international NGO environment is preferred.
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to
work effectively and as a team player with a diverse set of management and
program staff.
-
Fluency in written and spoken English and Urdu, fluency in other local languages
will be added value. Strong skills in effective use of MS Office.
