Medical Officers

Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) together with International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies is looking for Females(5) and Male(1) Medical Officers. The positions will be based in Balakot, Besham and Banna-NWFP.

Job Requirement:

• MBBS from a reputable college/university
• Proven work experience or interest in community health.
• Proven work experience or interest related to above position, preferably with an INGO, or leading national NGO or hospitals.
• Proven local knowledge of the EQ areas, being aware of and prepared to respect cultural norms and religious values. Be prepared to live in EQ area.
• Ability to work under pressure and whenever the need may arise on 24/7 basis.
• Very good communication, interpersonal, presentation, and team work skills, as well as ability to work independently.
• Proven leadership trainings, and ability to manage a team of staff/volunteers.
• Ability to speak/write English fluently, and to speak Urdu, and Pashto/Hindko.
