INVITATION FOR BIDS TO CONSTRUCT LIVESTOCK SHELTERS

Improving Livelihoods and Enterprise Development (I-LED) program

Relief International is implementing the Livelihoods Component of I-LED in Kaghan and Siran Valleys, Mansehra District, NWFP, and in Bagh District, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). Interested service providers (companies, non-profit organizations, NGOs individuals) are invited to submit quotes to construct Livestock Shelters in I-LED areas.

Bidders must give the following information, supporting documents:

1. Full name, permanent street address, phone, fax, email, organizational structure, current business registration.

2. Pre-requisite is a valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council. Registration with Government Department/agencies is not a pre-condition for bidding.

3. Proof of the organization's financial soundness: and permanent banking arrangements.

4. Income Tax Registration, National Tax Number, clearance certificate for the last 3 years.

5. Affidavit the organization hasn't been blacklisted by any Government, semi-Government Department.

Livestock Shelters total 1,735 in the 3 locations of Mansehra and Bagh. The locations are specified in the tender document.

Bidders must state the number of shelters and time line to mobilize and complete the work when quoting their rates. Preference may be given to bidders demonstrating relevant work experience in I-LED program areas.

Bids must be delivered to the Regional Program Manager (RPM), ILED, Tanda office, and RPM, ILED, Bagh AJK, on or before 12 noon on May 4, 2007, and they will be opened then in presence of bidders wanting wish to attend.

I-LEd reserves the right to accept or reject any part of a tender without assigning any reasons.
