NWFP - Essential Institutional Reforms Operationalisation Programme (EIROP-II) that aims at facilitating process of good governance, institution reforms, gender sensitive, participatory approaches and capacity building of public sector and civil society. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following vacant position: Female candidate are encouraged to apply.

1 - GENDER SPECIALIST

The incumbent must at least possess a Master's degree from an Internationally recognized university, preferably in Sociology or any closely Social Sciences, He/She should have significant experience in gender policy formulation and programe/project development management and monitoring, especially dealing with gender issues and empowerment. He/She should also have prior experience with capacity/institution building programmes or projects. Familiarity with UNDP rules with respect to national execution modality will be an added advantage. The person would be able to work as an effective team member and posses skills in analysis, communication, presentation and technical report writing. He/She should be gender sensitive and intimately familiar with gender and power issues in Pakistan. The incumbent should be fluent in English with excellent report writing skills. Knowledge of one of he languages predominately spoken in NWFP is essential. He/She should be computer literate and intimately familiar with internet/Email operations and Microsoft Office Package.
