REINVITATION OF NOTICE
INVITING CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE DETAIL
FEASIBILITY STUDY, DETAIL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
SUPERVISION OF SMALL DAMS IN NWFP

Small Dams Organization Irrigation & Power Deptt: Govt. of NWFP intends to carry out the Detail Feasibility Study, Detail Design and Construction Supervision of Small Dams at the following sites:

1. Kuhai Dam District Bunir

2. Pezu Dam District Lakki Marwat

1. In order to carry out the assignment technical and financial proposals are invited from the reputed consulting firms having experience in similar projects and registered with Pakistan Engineering Council having renewal for the year 2008. The Consultants will be selected and engaged in accordance with the procurement Policies and Rules of Government of Pakistan notified by Pakistan Engineering Council.
2. The TOR for the assignment can be collected from the office of the undersigned on payment or Rs. 5000/- per dam on any working day upto September 30, 2008.
3. The Technical and Financial Proposals will be considered and evaluated in accordance with evaluation criteria of Pakistan Engineering Council by applying a weightage of 80:20.
4. Small Dams Organization reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the technical proposals.
5. In order to get familiarize with project and the local conditions the project area can be visited but it should be clearly understood that any cost incurred for the collection of preliminary information, for preparation of proposals or for subsequent visit, will not be reimbursable.
6.  Any additional information, requested would be provided expeditiously, but any delay in collection of information will not be considered a reason for extending the date for the submission of the proposals.
7. Detailed technical & financial proposals prepared in English be submitted in two copies in sealed cover which should reach the office of the undersigned during the office hours on or before October 31, 2008.
8. The firms that have already submitted their Technical & Financial proposals for the above packages will be valid. The firm has to extend validity of the financial proposals by 120 days or fresh financial proposal may be submitted.
