Save the Children seeks the following qualified and experienced individuals. The following are minimum qualification for the position along with illustrative responsibilities and required experience.

Position: Director Household / Community Projects

Location: Peshawar

Manage and act as a lead person on all household / community projects in the spheres of WATSAN and community level civil works.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in reviewing the HH/community projects related strategy in collaboration with relevant partners / stakeholders.

• Prepare and assist in the preparation of detailed implementation plan for the HH/community projects.

• Monitor related interventions /activities.

• Provide technical input and guidelines to senior management of the project.

• Verify work progress and recommend release of payment to the contractors /partners.

• Report regularly to the lead agency of the project on the progress of the activities as per the implementation plan.

• Liaise with Various consortia partners and related government departments to ensure effective implementation.

• Overall supervision of HH/community projects with consortia partners.

• Participation in the strategic planning meetings.

Job Specification:

• Civil engineering / architectural degree, MBA

• Minimum 8 years of experience with five years in a relevant Position.
