PROJECT DIRECTOR Construction of Polytechnic Institute

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for employment as Project Director (PD) for Establishment Construction o Polytechnic Institute for Boys at Gilgit Northen Areas. The Project Director is a senior position responsible for planning managing and execution of construction works with in specified construction cost and completion period. The individuals shell report to the secretary Education Northern Areas through the Director Education (Planning) Directorate of Education  Northern Areas Gilgit for Effective Management & assurance of better quality of construction- works.

Qualification Required

1. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Higher qualification will be preferred.

2. Experience: Minimum ten (10) years o progressively engineering experience in similar position will be preferred.

3. Knowledge: Through knowledge of local building construction materials construction practices and general knowledge of regulation & specifications effecting construction is highly desirable.

4. Abilities & Skills: Good interpersonal and managerial skills as well as negotiating and advisory skills, are required to coordinate with other stakeholders, i.e. N.As Secretariat, Directorate of Education and Ministry of Education and Ministry of Education (MoE) Islamabad for effective management of the project.

5. Age Limit: Maximum allowable age limit is 65- years.

Contract Period: One year but extendable up to project life depending on the performance physically & financial progress of the project.

Maximum Salary: Maximum salary Rs. 60000/- (Rupees Sixty thousand only) per month.

Note: candidate serving in Government Sector should apply through proper channel along with a no objection certificate (N.O.C)
