FINANCE OFFICER (Position-2) And PROCUREMENT OFFICER

CARITAS PAKISTAN is a development organization with offices throughout Pakistan is seeking persons to fill roles in its response to the earthquake in AJK & NWFP with position based in the Abbottabad office, NWFP.

FINANCE OFFICER (Position-2)

Duty Station: Abbottabad Office

Job Duration: 3 Months

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor in Commerce (B-Com)

  • Minimum 3 years experience of procurement in INGO/NGO.

  • Excellent computing skills, including excel, word and electronic mail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Urdu and local languages.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry in Accounting software and preparation of vouchers.

  • Initial verification for completeness of supporting documentation.

  • Follow up of Program and Administrative advances.

  • Preparation of tax challans and EOBI forms for the deposit into Government Treasury.

  • File maintenance of vouchers, grant agreement, tax return, financial reports etc .

PROCUREMENT OFFICER:

Duty Station: Abbottabad Office

Job Duration: 3 Months

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

  • MASTER Degree in Business Administration (MBA) Marketing.

  • Minimum 3 years experience of procurement in INGO/NGO.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Urdu and local languages.

  • Excellent computing skills, including excel , word and electronic mail.

Responsibilities:

  • Procure equipment and various items for Caritas Pakistan as per CARITAS procurement Policy and procedure.

  • Maintain good working relationship with suppliers and service providers and always defend Caritas interest.

  • Work closely with Caritas Finance department regarding vendor payments.

  • Keep updates for Caritas / Donor procurement standard & procedure and ensure compliance.
