JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

FATA DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME, Government to Community is Public sector Programme, Established & working Government of NWFP, FATA Secretariat.

GRANTS ASSISTANT

Position Summary: The Grants Assistants will support the Grants Specialist in the design, development, and implementation of community identified grants. S/he will provide policy guidance and interpretation for program staff as well as sub-grantees. As necessary, s/he will analyze and evaluate grant applications, proposals and awards to ensure adherence to grants management policies. Travel to FATA may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the review and evaluation of grant proposals per agreed format.
  • Assists the review of grants to ensure they match program objectives, include all relevant information, comply to grant identification process, etc.
  • Assist with in negotiation of terms and conditions of grants;
  • Input data entry and database submissions into the grants tracking database;
  • Assist the analysis and budgeting and procurement estimate for grant implementation and verify information is documented and procedures are followed;
  • Support the Grants Manager to work closely with FATA field offices to ensure identification of grants proceeds;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduation from university;
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience directly in evaluation and administration of small grants;
  • Knowledge in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Access and previous experience with database entry;
  • Budgeting and reporting writing experience key;
  • Strong organizational and detailed oriented skills necessary;
