FDP-GC Vacancies

The FATA Development Program - Government to Community (FDP-GC) supports the FATA Secretariat and Political Agents engagement with communities to rapidly and responsively address community needs. FDP-GC is looking for qualified individuals to assist the program in the following roles:

Field Operations Manager Ref # FDP-GC/HR-03/6-08:

Responsible for assisting field level operations in programme sub-offices, ensuring coordination between the field and head office, including follow up on actions to ensure quick implementation, tracking the implementation cycle of each grant.

• Conversant with the administrative requirements for a rapid transition field programme;
• Good knowledge of financial and administrative management.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in establishing systems and overseeing programmes under limited time constraints;
• Effective resource management and mobilization skills;
• Excellent trouble-shooting and problem solving skills;

Peshawar based, with regular travel to FATA.

Grants Writer Ref # FDP-GC/HR-04/6-08

Responsible for assisting the writing processes of the programme, drafting grants and reports and assisting in general implementation when required.

• Excellent writing, communication, negotiation and analytical skills, ability to prepare clear and concise reports at a high standard of English;
• Peshawar based.

Competencies of FDP-GC staff

• Personal commitment, drive for results, efficiency, flexibility, respect for diversity;
• Must be able to work under pressure and should be willing to work overtime and on weekends when required;
• Good level of computer literacy, including database applications;
• Thorough knowledge of Pashto and English, oral and written; working knowledge of Urdu an advantage;
