Government of Pakistan and the European
Commission has an ongoing "Strengthening of Livestock Project (SLSP) in
Pakistan. This project currently needs following staff for NWFP office in
Peshawar.
All positions require the ability to speak
and write effectively in English and knowledge of MS Office computer software
with good organizational skills, proven ability to deliver to deadlines and be
able to anticipate problems and proactively find effective solutions in line
with the aims and objectives of Project. Ability in a range of local languages,
including Pushtu may be an advantage.
Accounts Officer 01 position
Qualification: At least Bachelor's
degree in Commerce or Masters Degree in Business Administration with financial
specialization from a recognized university.
Experience: At least 05 years of
experience in NGO's or any foreign funded project in the related role. The
candidate will be responsible for maintenance of accounts, development of budget
sheets for financial reporting, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual
statement. Computer literacy is must with good command over MS Office (Word &
Excel).
Public Relations Officer 01 Position
Qualification: At least Masters
degree in Public sector Relations, Journalism or Mass Communication from a
recognized university.
Experience: At least five years of
post-graduate experience in NGO's or any foreign funded project in the related
role. The candidate should have skills that include graphic , publications ,
pictorial presentations, power point presentations, Adobe Photoshop and Corel
Draw and be able to develop and implement a public relations strategy that
proactively manages the public image of SLSP and maintains a high profile via
appropriate forms of media and communication. The main responsibilities will
include identifying PR opportunities, supporting a variety of events, managing
the press office and making documentation.
An attractive remuneration package will be
offered to the right person with right qualification. The jobs involve extensive
travel and ability to work extended hours when necessary.
