FRONTIER WOMEN UNIVERSITY PESHAWAR
OVERSEAS Ph.D SCHOLARSHIPS UNDER
FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Applications are invited from the female applicants for
the award of Ph.D scholarships for the following subjects.
- Computer Science
- English
- Mathematics
- Statistics
The selected candidates will have to serve the Frontier
Women University Peshawar, after completion of their Ph.D program at least for
five years. The faculty staff already working in this University may also apply.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- A minimum of 16 years of education in the relevant
field of study. The candidates having second division in their last degree are
not eligible to apply (except English) with no third divisions in their
academic career.
- The candidates having more than two second divisions in
their academic career are not eligible to apply.
- Maximum age limit is 35 years, relaxable by 5 years in
the case of Government/Semi-Government employees (on 10/06/2008)
- The applicants must have passed the GAT conducted by
NTS or GRE(General) before the announced date for the Selection Board, which
is scheduled to be held after current GRE result.
- The final selection of the candidates will be made by
the University on the basis of prescribed procedure of the University.
- Candidates who are already serving in
Government/Semi-Government and autonomous bodies may apply through proper
channel.
HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates are required to send their applications
complete in all respects on prescribed Applications Form obtainable from the
office of Assistant Registrar (Estt.) along with attested photocopies of their
educational testimonials, NTS result, experience certificate, NOC incase of
In-service personnel, a recent passport size photograph, copy of National ID
card and a bank draft of Rs. 300/- (non refundable) in the name of Vice
Chancellor, Frontier Women University Peshawar on or before 10/06/2008.
Incomplete applications and those received after due date shall not be
entertained.
