Applications are invited for recruitment to the post of Professor (BPS-21) on Regular basic in the Department of Biological Sciences, Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan with the following qualifications and experience:

(a) Ph.D From an HEC recognized university institution in the relevant field with fifteen years teaching / research experience in HEC recognized University or a Post Graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization Or 10 years Post-Ph, D teaching / research experience in a recognized University of a Post-Graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization (b) The applicant must have 12 research publications (with at least 3 publications in last 5 years) in HEC recognized Journals.

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION

1. Pay, Allowances & other benefits as admissible under the Gomal University Statutes.

2. Applications complete in all respects on prescribed from can be obtained from Establishment Section, Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan and also available on University Website www.gu.edu.pk accompanied with five sets of documents including attested copies of the testimonials (with detailed marks certificates showing total marks / mark obtained from SSC to Masters), reprints of the minimum required publications. List of all the publications in HEC recognized journals, experience certificate, National ID Card, and a bank draft worth Rs. 500/- (Non-Refundable) drawn in favour of the Director Finance, Gomal University , Dera Ismail Khan or Bank Slip of Rs. 500/- (Non-Refundable) should be deposited in Account No. 595-3 in National Bank of Pakistan, Gomal University branch must reach the undersigned on or before May 30, 2008 during office hours. Application reaching this office after the last date and incomplete applications will not be considered.

3. The candidate serving in Government , Semi Government , Autonomous bodies should route their applications through proper channel.

4. Gomal University reserves the right, not to fill the post, withhold the appointment against the advertised post and/or to accept / reject any / application without assigning any reason.
