NATIONAL CENTER OF EXCELLENCE IN PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY

UNIVERSITY OF PESHAWAR

Applications on prescribed forms available from the centre office are invited for the following Faculty Positions, according to Higher Education Commission Eligibility Criteria so as to reach this center on or before 21. 04.2008.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Professor (BPS-21)

1. Qualification: Ph.D in the relevant field an HEC recognized university / institution.
2. Experience :  15 years teaching/research in HEC recognized University or a postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

OR

    3.   Age Limit:       50 years

    4.   Publications: 12 Research Publication with at least 3(three) publications in last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals).

2. Associate Professor (BPS-20)

1. Qualifications: Ph.D in the relevant firld from an HEC recognized university/institution.
2. Experience:      10 years teaching/research in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or International.
   
   5 years post Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
3. Age Limit:      45 years
4. Publications  The applicant must have 8 publications (with at least 2 publications in the last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals).

3. Assistant Professor (BPS-19)

1. Qualifications: Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution. Experience not required.

OR

          Master's degree (foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years              of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized 
          institution.

And

     2.  Experience: 4 years teaching/research experience in a recognized university or a
          post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or
          International Organization.
     3.  Age:               35 years
     4.  Publication: Nill

Note: Preference for the post of Professor/Associate Professor to be given to those who have supervised M.Phil/Ph.D scholars in the field of (i) Heterogeneous , Catalysis, Surface Chemistry, Gas Phase Kinetics, Radiation Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry and Fine Particular Tribology,.

3. INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER: (BPS 18)

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

First Class B.E. Electrical / Electronic Engineering from an HEC recognized University with 6 year experience in handling of highly sophisticated  laboratory equipment in a Public or Private sector organization.

Age limit: 35 years

5. In-service candidates should reply through proper channel.
