LEARNING ADVISOR (based at Islamabad)

Plan is an independent, international, nongovernmental organization dedicated to working with and for children. Plan Pakistan is a member of a network of some 69 countries around the world. Currently, we are seeking the services of a Senior Learning Advisor to be based in Islamabad with frequent travels to Plan-supported districts (Mansehra, Vehari, Chakwal and Islamabad).

The incumbent will be responsible for providing the strategic leadership and management of Plan Pakistan's Education Programme.

The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualification:

• A demonstrated commitment to children and their rights to education

• At least eight years of proven senior-level, problem-solving and strategic planning capability

• Strong credibility in education strategy formulation and program design

• A history of communicating effectively in writing and verbally, including public speaking skills for presentations in English

• An advanced degree is desirable, preferably in a field related to education
