Minimum qualification or equivalent: Ph.D from recognized institutions by Higher Education Department in IT related fields with minimum 5 years post Degree experience preferably in Academia, IT industry with relevant publications. OR

M.S Computer Engineering M.Phil or equivalent from HEC recognized institutions in Telecom, Computer, Software, Networks with minimum 8 years post Degree experience in Academia and IT Industry OR

M.Sc Computer Science, MBA with BIT (4 years) of equivalent from HEC recognized institutions minimum 8 years post degree experience in administration/research planning with additional experience in communication. Networking, E-Commerce etc. Up to date knowledge of IT Industry.

2. The candidates should possess good academic career and interpersonal skills. The Candidates should also have experience of preparation and management of Information Technology Projects, excellent management & Software Engineering skills with proficiency in MIS development (database programming for front and back end), knowledge of GIS and web integration and Government setup, good leadership, communication and ability to work in a team environment to achieve organizational goals. Experience in Government Department, Semi Government Organization or projects there-under shall be given preference.

3. Duration of experience can be relaxed in case of outstanding candidates.

4.
